Vivian Davis was born in Sarasota, Florida on
April 22, 1923 to the Reverend Enoch and Arizona Daniel. Vivian was raised back
and forth between Fort Myers and Punta Gorda. She graduated from Fort Myers
High School and lived the rest of her life in Punta Gorda. Vivian was an
Evangelist for the Church of God of Prophecy, and also later worked as a Switchboard
Operator for the telephone company in Punta Gorda. She loved to tell stories of
the conversations that she overheard. Later on, she married Punta Gorda
resident, Morris Davis, and together they built D.M. Construction Corp. which
is still in business today. Together they had two children.
